Default Katie's Folded Up Overlays

Okay, am I just supposed to drag these overlays right ontop of the paper I want to use. Or do I need to do something more? I tried this and it just doesn't look like the results I saw in the gallery. Could it be my paper?

Thanks for your help = )

I bought those, but haven't used them yet...I would use them on a white background paper and play with the blending styles - probably a soft light

I usually play around with the blending modes on those, depending on the color of the background paper.

I have these too & just plunk them onto my pages. I have only changed the opacity to lower it, & I think on another page I doubled the overlays to make it darker. HTH

I think they work best playing with blending modes also.

for best results change to linear burn... thats how it makes it look really folded as opposed to 'white lines'
