Another newbie

First of all, I'd like to say a big thank you all, for your comments you wrote to my pages... I especially appreciate your encouraging and nice words that greet me every morning (I am 6 hours ahead here in Hungary...). Now I feel so happy and embarassed at the same time... you know, these comments mean so much for me.

I was surfing on the internet a few months ago when I found this page, DD. Let me tell you, I've fallen in love with your hobby at first sight. For 4 months I was lacking in courage to upload pages, but after all I did it. Now you can see some of my first digiscrap pages, each of them were inspired by your great works! I'm serious, here I've found the greatest talents, the nicest tastes, LOs and personalities from all scrapbook pages I've visited...

So I thank you girls, again for your comments (I used your username xpt Katie and Kellie): Shel, bjwtville, Katie, susancurtis, beehive50, SAHMom, baersgarten, Kathy Wagner, Kelly, chigirl, Lilla001, danazarling, sarahbcmc, Yen, Tali, justmp, AlohaMamma, janeg-j! And those 305 people who have visited my pages, too till this moment.

Some about me: I am 33 yrs old (just like the other newbie, Monica from Norway ), I am really proud of my two boys, Marco (Márkó in Hungarian) 4yrs old, and Balage (Balázs) 2 yrs old, and more proud of my DH, Mahtee (Matyi). I've been at home for 4th years, I'm planning to go back to work about June 07. When I work I deal with marketing and advertising at some small (sometimes big) companies and foundations.

In the inside I am a whole-hearted, vital, merry person. Who likes to meet new people, and (looks like) prefers the long written sentences... I do like my hobbies: reading, cross-stiching, patchworking and.... scrapbooking, yeah!

Looking forward and appreciate your replies, and your understanding towards my clumsy English...

Thank you for introducing us yourself and share little bit about you...sounds the kind of person that we get along well =-) DD is such a wonderful and small community with nice peep and oh, thank you for including me in your "list"..that made me so "GLEE" ..=-) A lot of girls here are really friendly and nice; when I first came here and I was kind of having second thoughts about post my first layout. Then I didn't bother to come back and check on my first but boy..was I wrong! I recieved 15 comments on the first one and I was like "WOW" ....so I stared to check around and found so many amazing pages! Fab Designers!

Let me tell you how much I admire your work, I am between the readers of your blog, too. Herebouts I can't find any lady who deals with scrapbooking, and would be a Technology Support specialist, as you are... to say nothing of your memory pages... all of them are classic if you do not bother I pick one of them… that one about your mother leaving her old home… that one thouched my heart.
And another personal thing: I am also a sloooooow scrapper.. as you mentioned about yourself. )

In your introduction in that other tread, you said, you are not very good at short-winded…. well, so am I, =). Let me tell you some really personal thing: there is a much loved big-babygirl in our family, my 38yo sister-in-law. She is not able to move and speak. She is 7yo in her mind. When I first met her, I did not know how to act around her, I did not want to hurt anybody in my future family… and I’ve found just exactly the same attitude in them which I read about in your 'My Precious Joy' page. They are also believers as you are, and our little family, too. So realizing how they DO their whole life with Monica thaught me how to treat her, too. So she is a precious gift, I can agree. Thank you that you call me to be a part into yours DD family. I was so happy when I read that. As I wrote to Pattie, too, I LOVE that you, ladies, taking time to do these treasures, I mean sb pages! For to see: here, in Hungary… after 40 years of suffering the ruling USSR regime, you will not find any grandma who would be deal with such kind of things. The attitude and mood is so different in our land. That is why I feel always refreshing and happiness in my heart when I see your pages. Let me start with my favorits from your gallery: 'Hope you know' and 'Tracks on my heart'. THESE are fabulous - I reply your flattering attribute you wrote to my starting pages. Hi, Tali, God bless you with a great talent, you must know! I love your works, and I can’t stop looking over and over your gallery. If you remember I post a comment to your 'grow, learn, read' page, and that is what I feel! And I absolutelly agree with Pattie, „you have totally knocked my socks off with this one SS! I have looked, looked again, and looked another time...and I still can't absorb all the fabulous touches you have added to make a basic design scream "TALI!" I absolutely love the way you've showed that "template" doesn't have to mean "cookie cutter layout." This is beyond good.... (because my English is poor for the right expression, I just quote her. Gigi! thanks for so many nice words! We are so glad you've joined us and I agree with the others that your english is excellent! I've worked in marketing/advertising for many years as well. Although I've never been to HUngary but I've been to Amsterdam and hosted exchange students a few years ago from the Ukraine, Romania, and Bulgaria--that's as close as I've gotten!
