Angry Shoebox - moving files!?

Here's a weird one -- I'm trying to clean up my folders and have just discovered that Shoebox is moving files!!!

I put everything where I want in Finder and then reopened Shoebox to redo the tags only to go back to Finder to discover that Shoebox has moved the files out of the folders that I JUST put them in!

What's going on??? Is this happening to anyone else???

If it weren't the only option for Mac, I would have ditched this software ages ago!!!

::it's fair to say up front that I know Shoebox is supposed to be able to move files but I find it cumbersome for what I'm doing. it's easier to re-tag in this case.::

Sorry, I haven't experienced this. I thought if you moved your files around independent of Shoebox it would just result in a broken tag. That is really strange... have you tried contacting Kavasoft?

LOL...Kavasoft is notorious for poor technical support. I have submitted questions on other issues in the past and never received any response.

Competition is a good thing. Like I said, if this software weren't the only option for Mac users, I'd ditch it in a NY Minute!

I read in a different thread that there was rumor ACDSee was working on a Mac version...anyone heard about that???

Searched the class forum to try and find out if anyone else had your problem Tracy, and didn't see anything. BUT try emailing screenshots along with your question to:
andrew@kavasoft.com
