How Things Are Done

I have some questions about how the actual digital items are made. And the people who "work" in the world of digital scrapbooking. Hopefully some of you will be willing to share your stories.

How are the elements made? Are they photographed? What about paper? When I see a insert-designer-name paper, does that mean that they have... what? Painted and scanned? Drawn in photoshop? Something else?

When I see a designer kit - has that designer "made" all of those items? Or shopped them from others work?

What do members of creative teams do? Are they also designers, or are designers on creative teams, or both, or neither? Are creative team members employees?

I am so fascinated with all of the cool digital stuff out there, and all of the designers and scrappers. I just want to know everything!

Here at DesignerDigitals, the designers create their own work. I'm not sure about other sites, frankly because I don't shop at them. The DD designers use their mad skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. along with their artistic talents and photography skills to create beautiful products for us to enjoy.

The Creative Team consists of designers that have been selected to create pages using the products sold in the DD store. We are not employees per se, but rather are given access to the products in exchange for promoting the designs. We are really more like a big family than a team of page generating robots.

You have truly found the best designs in the digital scrapbooking world here at DD. It's nice to have you and I look forward to seeing your pages in the gallery!
