totally agree on BG and Crate.
I'd love it if Stampin' Up! or Fancy Pants would make brushes out of some of their stamps.

Totally agree about BG, Crate and Fancy Pants. They are my "go to" papers in the paper world. When I want something a bit different, I go to Scenic Route.
As Girl Scout leader, I would love to have digital GS papers to do cool digital projects with the girls. The recent K&C Girl Scout papers were excellent for a paper scrapbook I did with the girls.

I have no idea who you are talking about since I have never paper scrapped ( for real anyway) but now you got me thinking about all the cool paper that could be digital. It's only a matter of time before they all cross over, I think. It's only logical...
Can't wait!

It all starts out digitally anyway, right?!! But I doubt most of those manufacturers would have the awesome turnaround design time that our DD designers have!

Nancie Rowe Janitz also designs for Fancy Pants.
I design for Bo Bunny and you will see some of my papers (Merry Cheermas and Urban Chic) in their lines coming out at CHA. they changed the names to Holiday Spirit and My Darling but they are the exact same papers that I have for sale in the store! They had me adapt my Urban Butterfly paper to fit a fall theme, and that will be at the show as well! ![]() I think the companies are slowly moving towards digital. It would be a smart move in these economic times. You get a lot more bang for your buck with digital. you can use papers and elements over and over again. With paper, one cut and you are done with it! |

DEFINITELY would love some of the stamping companies to produce their products in digital format (but then again that could bankrupt me LOL)! Great idea Mary, are you going to approach the companies ?????

Congrats Dana! I paper scrapped for 10 years before I grew to love the digital designs. Now I have a closet full of paper that I collected but I have so many digital ideas that I cannot seem to pull myself away from the computer.
Dana, I am curious about how you got into designing for paper manufacturers. |

Bo Bunny just saw my designs in the store and asked if I would work with them. The cool thing is that the digital versions can all stay in the store while they get the paper rights. we get the best of both worlds!
They are a great company to work with and I'm so fortunate to be in this great store with Katie and Randy. I'm really blessed! |

good question, mary! 7gypsies, Karen Foster Designs, and Tinkering Ink are all over at cough, cough pcLayers cough, cough
, as is one of my favorite BASIC GREY designers, Celeste Rockwood-Jones. I would also LOVE to see American Crafts go digital...makes sense with their graphic designs, rubons, and thickers, etc. |
