Default So many new members lately, but..........

I wasn't sure how to get your attention, but welcome to all the new members I've been noticing lately. Since my sleep habits have changed rapidly recently, I know I've missed saying hi to a lot of you!

I'd LOVE to link to your galleries and give a few comments here and there, but I'm having a difficult time getting there in a couple of simple steps (I'm sometimes a bit clueless!), if someone would show me the easy way, I'd be more than welcome!

If there isn't one, might I ask a favor? Cassie has set up a nice group of quick tip tutorials and one is how to place a link to your gallery in your signature Linking to Layouts. It would sure make it easy for me to talk to you through your layouts. If you need help doing this just holler!

I just followed the instructions to set up the link to my gallery but I don't think it's working. When I clicked on the link it came up with the 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage'. But I can't figure out what I've done wrong! Can some-one else try to follow my link to see if it goes anywhere please? Thanks.

Donna, you have entered "http://" twice in your link. If you remove one you should be fine!

Well, I just slipped over the edge from Dabbler to Admirer but I would love any feedback, especially suggestions for improving changes. I love this place and the community of truly supportive artists here.

Thanks for being so welcoming. It has taken a little while to figure out how it all works and I feel so silly for having put some of my early posts in the Guest CT Gallery before I really knew what was what. But I think I did get a bit more feedback there!! It is weird how compelling the comments become. I love learning to view and comment on others' work in a meaningful way, too.

Enough. Thanks for doing this Chris.

Welcome to all the newest members and I'll add my voice to those who have said that DD feels like "home". It is so nice to have a place to share and learn and to feel comfortable even asking "dumb" questions!

Chris, thanks for starting this thread and giving the suggestion of adding "My Gallery" to the signatures.

Hello and welcome to all of you who are new! Like Debbie says, you all bring fresh enthusiasm and interest to DD. It just keeps better and better at DD!

Default I agree

I too can't keep up with everyone! This is a great idea to get to know everyone. I keep rambling on in my layout descriptions like you all know me! That's the kind of family DD is!

Thanks for the welcome. I'll try to put a link in as soon as I'm brave enough to add something to the gallery. Hmmm, a little scared of giving credit properly. I tend to worry so much about the layout that I forget where I got the stuff until it's too late.

I'll try to do better.
Thanks
