Default Layouts with ALOT of photos...

Hi everyone, this is my first post on DD! I've been doing hobby photography for quite a while and started dabbling with digital scrapping and having lots of fun with it. I use PSE 5.0, fyi. Love the style and products here (have bought quite a few!) and also browse the great galleries for inspiration.

So my question is.... I'm looking for some layout inspiration.... Have several layouts I need to do with LOTS of photos, maybe around 8-10 photos of various sizes. There could be 1 or 2 photos larger, as a focus point, with the others smaller. They are vacation photos and a set of zoo photos (all color photos).

Would there be any example layouts y'all might have in mind with lots of photos? I know everyone has those vacation layouts.... I'm open to styles - can be freeform with angles, or all straight, with photo borders or not, etc. Just FYI, my personal style tends toward subtle colors and slightly grunged but I'm not locked into anything... Don't need a lot of room for journalling, just a main title and a tiny bit of text (the photos are really the emphasis). Just FYI, I just love Katie's album pages of Ireland (the Cover page, Day1, and Cliffs) but yeah, need to squeeze more pics in! :-)

So, any ideas or example LO's just for ideas would be most appreciated! (and of course, buying more stuff is certainly an option!) Thanks so much... .... Simone

The first person I thought of was Amber on our DD Creative Team... she does lots of multi-photo layouts! Check her gallery here: Amber's Gallery

Also, DD Designer Anna Aspnes has some templates that would work GREAT... check them out here: Anna Aspnes

And, of course, you found Katie's albums... Katie Pertiet

Hope this at least starts you on your way to starting that vacation album!

Here are a few of my favs which use several travel photos:

by scrapdz - http://www.designerdigitals.com/digi...hp?photo=10325
by judyj - http://www.designerdigitals.com/digi...=all&limit=all
by KJConners - http://www.designerdigitals.com/digi...=all&limit=all
by tnkbuzan - http://www.designerdigitals.com/digi...hp?photo=21136
and check out Katie's "A Year in Photos" template - you could probably change out the type for travel - http://www.designerdigitals.com/digi...oducts_id/2190
check out the gallery of snowgal - who has lots of great vacation photos
and one by sam ellis named "asdia" (I think) with lots of photos but I can't find it in her gallery.

If you scroll through the gallery here, there are many multi-photo pages which you could change to use for travel. Designer Digitals is simply loaded!!!
And, welcome to Designer Digitals ... this is a great place to hang out and find tons of pages just full of inspiration.

Thanks so much, Debi and Molly! I looked through these and they are all great -- a perfect place to start for ideas. Just what I was looking for. I've been a D/D fan for a while (just not on the forums 'til now) so I've been browsing the galleries for inspiration (and education!), and had seen multi-photo LO's but hadn't come across many with just tons o' photos... thought y'all might have some in mind since you've been here a while. For me, it's a real challenge to work so many photos into one page -- and now I have great examples for getting started! And a template might work also! THANKS so much...

Anna has some templates that make scrapping with lots of photos a breeze. Here is one of the layouts I used it for.

You should check out Pattie Knox's Speed Byte templates. She has one, #56, that I used to scrap a baby shower. 2 large photos and 14 smaller ones. Also #74 has lost of spaces for photos.

OK, now I KNOW I made the right decision in posting here to ask for ideas!

All the suggestions are great and so much appreciated. I especially like Anna's gallery with examples, her templates, Katie's templates, the Pattie Knox speed-bytes... plus the individual ones also mentioned above. This is PERFECT info! I'm busily marking favorites and making notes... THANK YOU!
