How do you open a purchased kit and use it?

I just purchased the "In the Nursery" scrapbooking kit. I downloaded the kit and saved it to my C drive. I am now stuck on how to actually use the papers, ribbons, etc in my Photoshop Elements 5.0 creations. Do I have to import the files into my organizer or can I somehow add them to the Artwork section of my editor?

You have to "extract" them first by doing a right click on the folder and choosing Extract. Then you can open them into your PSE organizer to view all of them or just pull them into your editor to use them. Have fun! I hope this helps!

Are you on a PC or a Mac? If you are a PC user then Katrina's advice should work for you.

I'm on a Mac and for me the files are ready to use as soon as I download them to my desktop. I just open up PSE and use the "browse folders" window to navigate to the files I want. I view them in the browse folders window and click on them to open. I can then drag the paper or elements to my new layout.

BTW, that's a great kit you purchased. Have fun creating with it!
