OneNote...anyone tried it?
I had to upgrade my Office suite last week and OneNote came with it. I didn't really think I would want/need it but I played around with it and you know.... I think it's really going to come in handy especially for my digital graphics stuff! For those who have never tried it, it's like a notebook in your computer but waaaay more organized. You can just plop down any graphics, text, charts, handwritten notes (if you use a wacom) and it will organize them on pages, groups of pages, notebooks, etc. You can search your notes for keywords.
One of the features I especially love is that you can easily take a screenshot and it automatically saves it PLUS the hyperlink if you're on a website! That's really good for me because I'm always seeing cool things on websites that I want to remember but then I end up with a kazillion link in my favorites and I don't remember why they're there. I spent about an hour doing new color swatches on Adobe's Kuler site, taking a screenshot and saving it my "colors notebook"! Fun stuff!!!
