font size
If I type out a journaling sentence in MS Word in a particular font and size and then print it with my regular printer .... is that what it will look like printed in that font and size on a 12x 12 LO????

That's how big it will print if you type it at that font size onto a 12X12 layout. If you typed it onto a 12X12 then printed it 8X8, it would be smaller.
