Default Question for Wacom Bamboo users

I've been using my Bamboo for years and I could not live without it. But this week it's begun behaving badly. When I touch the pad with the pen, a weird ripple effect appears on my screen, and it keeps opening an input panel. I have gone through everything in my control panel that has anything to do with the tablet, and I can't figure out how to make it stop.
Misbehaving middle school kids I can deal with, but this is driving me nuts!!
Any ideas?

Mine just quit working recently. Trouble soothed the thing and could never get it to work. I'm just short of throwing it in the trash I'm do frustrated.

Oh gosh, no idea. Do you think if you uninstalled it and reinstalled it, it might fix it?

Don't just do it on my account, I'd hate you to do that and it not work at all then. But it was the only thing I can think of. I have a bamboo and nothing like that has happened.

Try re-downloading the drivers from the Wacom site. Every time Windows does a major update on my PC it screws up my Wacom and I have to re-download the drivers. HTH

My wacom mouse died a few months ago and I now live in mortal fear that the stylus will fail... Oh the dependence we have on these electronic gadgits... I still love my #2 lead pencil so glad you're back on track...
