Default Posting in the gallery

When I post a photo it looks a bit unsaturated. So I have been bumping up the saturation after resizing for web. But when I look on the gallery page I have to double click on the photo for the nicer more saturated version to show up. Should I boost saturation before resizing? And why can you sometimes double click on a photo for a bigger more clear image and sometimes only a single click brings up the photo for viewing?

That usually happens when the file is too large. I always save 700X700 pixels dpi 300 and that doesn't happen when I upload.

I resize to 700x700 (72dpi bi-cubic sharper) too. When I was going 800x800 I noticed you had to click on it to get the clear image.

Yep, 72dpi and 700x700 (or make the longest side 700 if your page isn't square). Anything else will require you to "click on the image" for a clearer view.

I was wondering why that happens with my pages... I can't remember when or why I started changing my upload dimensions.. Thanks all...
