Hi Ladies my Shutterfly books that I ordered last Wed 2/1 arrived today 2/8 here's the link if you are interested. The books turned out fantastic - I was really nervous about how my 2011 page a day would look since I gave printing a photo book zero thought until 2012...My colors etc all worked well and the white line is not annoying to me around each page.... as I was able to get a variety of background papers to "cover" my lack of thought up front. Calendar Review link Dolls a complete duplicate book free coupon Linda has hers I didn't have mine.... her's was at Arts Cow 2010 before I came here....lol

So pleased this worked Sarah.. I will definitely keep this in mind, if my cover gets grubby...

I found these measurements handy when preparing my Blurb book last year. The past two years I've done 7x7 books for my kids just using their basic templates. This past year I also wanted to use them for my Project 365. I found the exact dimensions and set my templates to that size and everything turned out fabulous. Love Blurb!

Anyone here used Viovio? I would need to go 8.5 x 11 landscape for them I think. Their website looks good to me . . . I'm still in the deciding mode, but would like to make a decision so I can create/resize my pages while it is still early in the year.

If you are going to print landscape I would try MyPublisher. I have printed a calendar and a soft cover landscape book from them. They do a beautiful job. If you are on their e-mail list they will send out notices for sales. A few times a year they have free extra pages which would be great for people that are printing large books. There is a link for a $20 credit for them.

I would love to see more landscape pages posted in the gallery. I'm considering doing more books in landscape so that I have more printing options.

I'd like to put in a plug for My Publisher, too. I used a coupon for a free book with them and I was very pleased with the little book I ordered.

I'm still gonna stick with BLURB, but will leave a bigger border than I normally would..
not happy Jan
That happened to me with one of my earlier blurb books. For later books I took a screen shot while inside the Blurb's bookmaker software and used that to make a template. I made the edges the same gray color as the photoshop desktop to force myself to look at as if those edges were not there. My later books have all come out looking much better without that overly cropped feel. I'll be happy to send you the template I made if you want to PM me. Someone also mentioned they are not perfectly square which is true, they trim more from the sides. Blurb also reprinted a book for me when half the book was improperly cropped.
