Default Creating a book in Blurb or Shutterfly

Hi,

I want to know where to find instructions on creating a scrapbook in Shutterfly and/or Blurb. I have been to both of these sites and am finding it difficult and confusing.

Mary, I'm afraid both sites are a little confusing. Blurb is much easier than Shutterfly at this point. If you want to try Blurb, you need to download their BookSmart software. Once you do that and open the software, I believe it will give you the option to watch a short tutorial movie on how to use the software. You might want to give that a try. I used to have a Shutterfly tutorial available but it no longer applies to their new interface and I haven't tried to make a new one yet.

Thanks Sarah. I think I've figured out Shutterfly now. It's taken me several frustrating hours however. I still haven't figured out Blurb.

Mary, if you managed to figure out Shutterfly.........congratulations! You must win a prize or something. I tried several times without success and finally went to Blurb. Honestly, I thought that Blurb was a snap but I used the Blurbify (or something like that) option rather than downloading the BookSmart Software. My pages were built in PSE and all ready to go as Full Bleed.
The book arrived on Friday and it is beautiful.

Hi Brenda,

LOL. I'm still trying to figure out Blurb. Also my layouts have lines that one from left page of the spread to the right and getting those to come out even with each other is a real challenge in Shutterfly. I downloaded the software from Blurb. I would like to try the "blurbify" if you think that works.

I figured out that I need to use "bookify" in Blurb. I uploaded the pages but I am seeing that there is a boundary where the pages might not print on the edge (it's a pink boundary). How do you do full bleed so that the entire page is printed? Also after I uploaded the layouts, I hit save and now I can't retrieve the book that I started. I am feeling like a complete dunce at this point. No to mention totally frustrated.
