Default s/o of the tagging threads

The tagging threads and the lists of categories has been interesting! And now I am second guessing my decision NOT to tag everything. My biggest issue when I was using the PSE Organizer was that as it got "fuller" with more and more items, my computer was slower and slower. Is that better with ACDsee??

I have not found ACDSee to slow down my computer at all. I've never tried the tagging in PSE or PS.

Same... ACDSEE doesn't seem to slow me down a bit. And I usually have PS open along with Lightroom. But, I have never used anything other than ACDSEE.

I have gone back and forth with ACDsee let me know if you get it. I have also seen huge differences in prices. I think I was looking at series 14 or something like that. There are
all different ACDsees, from free to high tech.

I have the most basic ACDSEE... I think I paid 40.00 for it. I have ACDSee photo manager 12 and it does everything I need it to do

I think it would depend on your processor and amount of ram on your computer. Last Christmas I got a new computer with a newer processor, lots of ram and 1TB space! I will have CS5, LR, and ACDSee open and running all at the same time with no problems. Also, I believe that ACDSee is a way to help organize what's on your hard drive, it isn't taking up space by tagging.
