Default Digital scanner perfection!! recommendation

Ok, if you don't know me yet, I love electronics. Some women love jewelry, I love electronics....especially related to story making/memory keeping.

I have two dedicated high end scanners and a few others on my all in one printers.

BUT....... this little thing has won my heart.

It is called Flip-Pal Mobile Scanner.

It runs on batteries ( you can use rechargeable).
It is light and stores scans on an SD card which you use to transfer to the computer.
It can scan any size and stitch it all together with it's own software which WORKS perfectly.

It means you can carry it anywhere......family homes, libraries, courthouses, etc. and copy.......

Amazon sells it and the company who built it sends it quickly. It is a family owned business and they started it when they were trying to make a memory book for their parents.

Check it out.

Does anybody already have one?

Way cool! Thanks for the heads up! Since I am doing the "digital" version of project life... I am going to have more than a few things to scan!

Interesting... will be following this... noted on their website that they are a northern Colorado company... my old backup all-in-one just died and I really am in need of a good scanner... thanks for the heads-up Patricia...

Just want to add that this is NOT a full bed scanner....so maybe not the right thing for your primary scanner.

It would take a lot of work to scan a lot of say....8x10 photos.... but for 4x6 or smaller it is quick and can scan up to 600 dpi. The sticking software works I just wouldn't want anybody to think this is like a big scanner.

It's the portability I'm thinking I would like so I could have a scanner at the lake cabin and for other travel in addition to the full bed scanner at home. I put this on my wish list.
