Default Printerpix

I see there's a Groupon for Printerpix. I was just wondering if anyone has used them for photobooks. If so, I'd love to hear about your experience. Thanks!

I've only used Shutterfly, so it will be good to hear other's reactions! Good luck on your hunt for info!

After seeing the groupon deal today I googled the name of the company since I had never heard of it. I came across a blog where the blogger is very upset with the quality and the customer service. Might just be one person's experience but I am going to pass on the deal.

Thanks! It only takes one unhappy customer!

Don't order anything from them.

I placed an 8 x 8 photobook order in October. It's a disaster.

The sizes for their 8 x 8 books are:

Actual book width is 8 1/4" square

Actual photo page is 7 3/4" square

Visible Photo is 7 5/8" wide x 7 7/8" deep

I've been in a dispute with them since I received my book as 6 of my pages had the journalling cut off and several others had part of the photos cut. There were no warnings when making the book that the pages had exceeded what was going to be visible.

Their customer service sucks - I emailed photos of the problem as requested and despite almost 4 weeks passing by they still hadn't answered me. I emailed again yesterday, so we will see if they actually answer. All in all I think I have emailed them half a dozen times and had two replies.

I'm off to Google and see if I can find the customer mentioned in digigranma's post.

edited to add: found the blog and it seems I'm not the only unhappy Printerpix customer - they even have a Facebook page about them!
