12 by 12
Can someone tell me why when I open a new page, I put in scrapbook and the 12 by 12 transparent, but the page always is very small in the corner. It is 8.33% Why is that? That doesn't happpen in any of the videos I watch, they put in the 12 by 12 transparent or white and it doesn't open in the corner tiny.

Does it have something to do with the resolution or the scale? Check your preferences for the settings.

I looked under edit/preferences, but don't know what I am looking for, doesn't say anything about size in there.

Make sure your units are in inches, not pixels.

On PSE9, I kind of know what you mean. When I make a new page, it still opens in the left corner and I have to CMD 0 (cntrl zero on PC) to get it full sized and centered. "I" don't know how to make 'centered' a default.
This is what a new page looks like after my original has been centered.

Opening page
Maureen, That picture is perfect, that is what I mean. I open mine and it goes in the corner, but yours is at least larger than mine, mine is 8.33% and next to that it says 12 by 12. It is very annoying, I have to zoom in everytime and move it to the center. Hope someone picks up this thread that can help on this. Good picture.
