Default I got sucked in...

Seeing all these pretty December pages in the gallery I just couldn't resist. I joined in! But I will have to keep it simple or else I know I won't keep up. So I decided to just do one pretty (hopefully) photo per day and just a few embellishments. Since I already do the 365 pages, I don't want to double everything... we'll just have to see if I can catch up and keep it up Fingers crossed!

Sorry to disappoint but no December Daily for me this year. I do love seeing them in the gallery, however.

Teehee, so hard to resist, isn't it?

I must admit that while I like my pages so far, I'm realising that there isn't much festive yet, it's kind of been days of our ordinary life so far. Still, will be fun to read back over, and it's fun to be involved.

Thank you for the sweet compliment, Lori. I'm having a little pity party because Katie and Sam won't be here for Christmas. But on the positive side, their New York grandparents will get to spend their first Christmas with the munchkins. I really need a jolt to get into the Christmas spirit.

My parents gave me a lot of grief (honest grief, not manipulative) the first year we couldn't be there for Christmas. My husband is responsible for the Christmas Eve homily at church, so it doesn't work---we're not going to be separated for Christmas so that my folks can see the grandkids. And my parents are welcome to come here, but they don't want to because my sister and niece are in their town. It's hard. I sure hope you can find something that helps you get into the Christmas spirit! Maybe start a new tradition? Something very non-Christmas-y? Take a cruise! A day trip. A weekend trip. I hope you're back to your happy self soon. Happy Advent!

Thanks, ladies -- I'll be fine. This old body/brain just doesn't adjust to change like it used to.

Well, the project got me too. I think I'm going to make pages of memories, more mine than Dick's unless I can get his brain moving towards words. Not so easy...

But last night we looked over the two albums I made, 2008 and 2010. Can you believe 2009 isn't done?? That was to be the easiest...Cathy Z's tags. Not for this digi gal! But anyway, we had such a good time looking, laughing, and sighing...last Christmas Sebastian crossed the rainbow bridge...that I thought? how can I not make something this year.
