Default Figuring out the Forum

For someone used to FB this forum stuff is a little harder to figure out. Am working on it.
Three questions
1. How do you post a picture by your name?
2. I posted some comments on some gallery pictures, but don't see them, am I doing something wrong there. There are just so many awesome ones you could look forever.
3. How do you get email notification to stay on, I seem to have to mark it each time.
Thanks for any help I will keep checking around.

Hello there Bonvoyage4me

1. To post an avatar photo, go to the Community tab at the top, then User CP (just under Digital Scrapbooking Community - Designer Digitals), Edit Avatar, then upload photo > 150 x 150 pixels or 64.0 KB whichever is smaller)

2. Are you registered in the Gallery? I believe you have to register in two places, the Store (Supplies) and the Gallery. Did you click "Submit" after you made your comment? Also, you may have to "refresh" in order to see the comment you just made.

3. Hmmm... not sure about why email notification is not staying on... maybe someone else will have the answer.

Yeck they are grown, this is my time, .......isn't it?

Hello Bonvoyage4me. It's great to have you here at DD!

Your avatar is not showing up yet, so, I clicked on your name in the above message which took me to your profile. You have posted a lovely profile photo there. Now, to have it show up when you post a message you need to add the same photo to your avatar by going to the User CP only make sure you choose edit avatar.

Thanks Digigrandma,
I would not have figured out the avatar thing. I don't use them, so wouldn't of had a clue to do that. I think it should be ok now, though I didn't see my last post, but I will check again. Sorry Elena I missed your post, thanks there also, I see the picture all is good.

Welcome! Looks like you are all set!

btw, the email notification does not give you the message like FB does. It gives you a link back to DD where you can read it.
