Default Anyone with experience with metallic paper?

I have been wanting to make a dry erase board with an image on it, but when i was looking to order one I could only find really expensive versions ($100-$200) for companies that wanted to order gobs of them with our logo.

But today I happened on the printing company Black River Imaging, and they say that they can make a dry erase board on kodak metallic paper on sale for only $10 each. Which seems too good to be true compared to the other options.

Has anyone used this or seen it in person? For $10 I'll probably give it a go, but I'm wondering if I should try and turn these into potential Christmas gifts.
