We have three computers backed up to the same EHD using Second Copy software. My husband set it up so I don't really know much about it other than he said it was easy to do. I hope this helps!

Well I don't know anything about this ehd but if you google the name you put in your post there is a lot of info that comes up.
With my ehd that backs up my iMac, I also have it set to back up another ehd. Both ehds are connected via the usb ports to my iMac. It was done through a setting in my Time Machine/Mac software. I'm wondering if 1. you plan to back up wirelessly and 2. if not, are the computers close enough to be connected to the ehd or 3. do you plan to manually move the ehd back and forth?? Finally, are you on a Mac or PC? That might help other readers compare what you want to do with what they do. hth!

I've had really good success with Seagate customer service. Try calling them and ask them to walk you through the set up. It's worth the peace of mind to have it set up correctly, assuming it can be done (which I think it can, in answer to the original question).
