Default fuzzy text

sometimes when I look at my layouts in the gallery, the text looks fuzzy, but in PS or iPhoto it looks fine. Any ideas as to why?

Thanks!

Heather, the only time things look fuzzy to me in the gallery are when you have to click on the layout to enlarge. If the layout is saved at 700x700 then they are clear. Hope this helps.

What percentage are you viewing it at in PS? On my little laptop screen, everything I post in the gallery looks a little fuzzy because it's been resized to 72 ppi, and it's much smaller. When I open the LO in PSE and zoom in to about 17% or higher, everything becomes very crisp. That's also because I'm viewing it at 300 ppi.

But that's just me. I've never had super-sharp posts in the gallery, mainly because my computer monitor is too super-high resolution.

I meant to say, my computer monitor is NOT high resolution. My LOs in the gallery always looked sharp to me when I used my desktop computer---now, not so much.

There's no telling without seeing the two different displays, but it's most likely a tech issue. Not a design problem.

I've noticed this with my pages as well. Thanks for asking about it. I thought it was my shadowing or something?

I never change to 72 ppi. I leave it at 300 ppi and reduce to 700 X 700. Then I go to filter/sharpen/unsharp mask and use the settings Amount 100, Radius 0.3. (this is thanks to the advice of other dd members) My pages and fonts seem to look pretty clear in the gallery.
