I think h-ll just froze over...
My husband just asked me to digiscrap a very specific book!!!
I never thought he would really acknowledge my "hobby" in a way he just did! He loves my travel books, but this... We have a store in Gothenburg, Sweden, were we sell all things music related. CD's, Vinyl records, books on artists and bands, t-shirts, caps and so on. But we also do tour support and music merchandising. We design, produce and sell. Our biggest client is one of the most popular singers in Sweden, Håkan Hellström. He only sings in Swedish, so if you don't live in Scandinavia, you've never heard of him!  We ended a long, long tour yesterday, with a gig here in our and Håkan's hometown. The latest album was released in October, a year ago, and the first leg of the tour started in November. It's bitter sweet - The tour is over!!! But the tour is really over... Anyway, I've taken a gazillion pics this year. Of him, of the band, of the crew, of the venues, of the fans, of our travels, of the cities, of the sights, of the bad food, of the good food and then some... My husband just asked me to do a Shutterfly- or Blurb-book of all this to give to Håkan himself, to the band members and some of the crew! It's a HUGE project, but I think I'm gonna do it...

That is awesome!!! WOW! I love it. How exciting . . . everyone lives such exciting lives. I can't wait to see how the book comes along (if you're going to post pages in the gallery here). Good luck---I did a teeny-tiny book for hubby a couple of years ago and it was so hard to do a non-family, non-kids book.

That is so cool is every respect, Thess! First, that you got to experience the rush of the tour and now that your husband wants to tap your creativity for this album. I know you'll do a fabulous job and that everyone who receives a copy will love it.

What a moment . . . your DH really does "get" you, doesn't he? Isn't that the greatest feeling when they appreciate what you love to do?
You must have had a fabulous year . . . busy for sure . . . but it sounds like it was very fulfilling as well. I am sure that this book will be fabulous, Thess!!!

--- of course I know of Håkan too - played a lot in Norway to. Have a internet friend who follows him around on a lot of concerts and she and her husband loves his songs and concerts...
