The AKA (Also Known As) Challenge Gallery

The recent discussion thread in this forum about learning user names and real names reminds me that perhaps there are many people (especially new people who recently joined DD) who don't know about our AKA Gallery.

We have an "AKA GALLERY" here at Designer Digitals. AKA stands for "Also Known As."
AKA Challenge - Digital Scrapbooking Ideas - DesignerDigitals

You can create your own ATC (Artist Trading Card) or AKA card using the free downloadable template. When you get to the AKA Challenge Gallery, the first image you see is the template by Katie that you can download for free to help you create a card.

If you wish, your card can include your photo, your user name and your real name (optional). It's a great way to put a face to the username or to find out the real first name of someone with a different user name than their real name.

When you upload your card to that gallery, please title it with your user name. The cards load in ABC order in that gallery. That way if someone wants to know what someone's real name is they can easily search for the user name because they are in ABC order.

We'd love to have you join the AKA gallery if you haven't already.

You can always find the AKA gallery by looking in the list of challenges on the first page in the DD Gallery. There is also a sticky thread about this in the New Here and Getting To Know You forum, too. Any questions, please ask!

Oh, how frustrating it is when I look there to find someone's real name and they never made a card. Thanks for pointing this out, Merr. :O)

I didn't know about it either - guess I'll be making a card tomorrow with the new stuff - Maybe since I'm already behind I'll wait til next week after I hit the sale - Waiting is not something I'm good at - but oh my wish list is growing ridiculously big !

I just saw the "template section" for Thursdays challenges - I didn't know we were supposed to put them there - who knew - I'm off to check out the challenge pages - no wonder there are so many I didn't see when you pick the best of the week.

Here's a big thank you to all of you who responded to this thread by uploading a new AKA card to the AKA gallery. I hope I spotted all of them in the gallery. If I missed anyone, please, let me know!
