Not understanding what you mean Maureen, like where you have "Cooking My Life" in your signature?

Or are you meaning when we post our credits? If so, the table is here:
http://www.designerdigitals.com/digi...available.html
You just find the goodie and then copy/paste into where you post the credits.

Maureen, if you are talking about a photo in the credits, I upload a jpeg to Photobucket, which in turn gives me an IMG code (the last one). All you do is paste that in the credits and your photo will appear.

Anke, I don't think they're allowing these---all my links that were in my descriptions were deleted pretty soon after I posted them. Yours are still up, but it might be a creative team/privilege thing. Or maybe it was just me, I don't know. No big deal.

Maureen, here's how to add a hyperlink:

You have to put a code on each side of the text you want to show for the link. Start with [ url=urladdress] text here [ /url]

example:
[ url=http://www.designerdigitals.com]This is the DesignerDigitals website[ /url]

I have made spaced just after the square brackets so that the code shows up here. Don't put them in when you make the code yourself.

It will look like this when you take away the spaces:
This is the DesignerDigitals website

And as Carol said, the spreadsheet with the links to each store item is what most people use to inform of the supplies used - they are built with the url codes I mentioned. It's just copy and paste, or CMD-C CMD-V. Easy-peasy!

Hope this is what you wanted!

I think there is a script that runs periodically and strips out non-DD links in the description. I'm not quite sure how it works, but it's because people sometimes put in hyperlinks to other sites. Perhaps that explains your observation, Sarah.

Yes that is correct. As we have been out of town for a few days the nightly script has not been run and will be on Monday.

Links to outside sites are automatically removed because of spam sites posting in the gallery. The script removes outside links in the description as well as comments. Links from DD as well as shutterfly are ignored.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear about what I wanted to do. I'm talking about putting a link to another DD page in my credits for my own layout.

In scraplifting Christinas, I wanted to put a link to the page I lifted , even with just a hyperlink. I saw that someone else did this, but couldn't figure out how to do that -the way "GoingtotheSun" included a link to the layout of Christina's that she lifted.

eta: I see that my mistake was starting off with a < a href etc etc (space added so this will show up)

Did you see my explanation, Maureen? Have you sorted everything out now? PM me if I can help!

So it looks like you are saying that soon after posting, the photobucket images are deleted?

Joanie, this wound up being unrelated to Maureen's question, but yes, the night you post them, the script is run that will remove the photobucket link because it's an external link.

Actually, Anke's photobucket links are still up so it, apparently, isn't a blanket rule Joanie.
