I'm not 100% sure this is the right place to ask this, but I figured if anyone would have the answer, you would!
I would love to make my own planner and calendar pages, using my supplies from DD (or just PSE in general). I'm thinking of something that looks sort of like the Weekly Family Calendar on this site, but my own. Free Printable Family Organizers, Calendars, To-Do Lists | Mommy Tracked I'm having a hard time figuring out how to line things up. I'm figuring that my problem is that I'm not great at using Elements (it's only been 3 years!) and I just don't know what to do. Any advice for getting started? Thanks!

What I would do (after I discarded the idea of letting someone else take the time to design it for me...which I probably wouldn't do) is to
First: size my final printed page as the layout size, and just print a draft of that on printer paper to be sure my size was right. 2nd: After deciding what blocks of info I wanted on the page, I would create a layer for each block, and make it black so it could act as a mask for either some lined paper or some cardstock to put the lines on myself. I suspect I would not do the lines myself. 3rd: I would go back to each layer that needed the little check boxes and do that in Word (in a doc with the dimensions of the block you're using) and when the text looked right in Word, I'd copy and paste. I believe more people design this kind of thing in Illustrator but I'm sure you can do it in PSE. There are some things I will do for myself this way but mostly I am willing to pay a designer for her time, and just utilize. There are also some great looking paper products out there, that you can scan and use digitally. hth!
