I usually find a layout that i really really love and do a total scraplift, substituting like product for what I don't already have. It's amazing how this just sort of gets you thinking in a "scrapping" way again. Don't worry too much, it will come back - promise!!

It happens some time...the old mojo just seems to disappear...everything they suggested can help...but it does come back so try not to worry about it! Just keep taking your photos and you'll have plenty to work with when that inspiration hits! Sometimes just looking through galleries gives you a boost. It happens to everyone I think though so not to worry!

I won't be any help, I have only done two layouts since January.
I'm in a major funk and I can't seem to snap out of it. Usually scraplifting some gallery pages will help, but I tried that and it was all I could do to get through the layout and get it done. I hope you get back in your groove soon!

Love all the suggestions. Here's mine.
You have two beautiful daughters. Start with a story. Or a hope or a dream. About them or for them. Open photoshop and start writing. Just write. Then add a photo, any photo. Don't worry about how it looks. Really. Truly. The rest is just gravy. ![]() Oh and if all else fails use templates and scraplift! ![]() I miss your pages Maria. Hope you get scrapping soon! |

I understand, I feel the same, so I am trying to get my 365 caught up and then I know I will scrap some more, I seem to go in spurts- hang in there, the memories are just too precious not to scrap!

Hope you don't feel this way for long! It's good you are continuing to take photos. Suddenly, you will want to scrap those photos and your mojo will return.
Having a project, like a specific album with a theme, gets me going. I'm working on an ABC album for my grandson, for example, and, I want to finish it while he's still little and learning the ABC's...LOL!

Oh gosh, I hate when that happens.
For me, definitely scraplifting a layout I really like can help. Or using one of the really cool layered templates with all the goodies on them like THESE can really turn things around!

Thanks for all the suggestions! It's nice to know I'm not the only one. It's so frustrating for me. I think part of it is that while I want to do a layout each month for my YDD, I feel like I have to since her sister has one. I have found when I do scrap, I'm more successful if it's a photo of the two of them. I find it difficult to do just one or the other. I've been really busy though so I'm going to try not to stress over it and hope I find some inspiration soon. Project life also intrigues me...
Thanks again for all your suggestions and comments! Maria |

i think a lot of us here are having the same problem. i think i've only made two pages in the last 3 months. generally, a scraplift is a good way to get back in the swing of things. i need to start taking my own advice here!

Some great ideas here. Challenges are good for me to get scrapping again. Also consider taking an online class. Being around other digi scrappers can be good for the mojo.
