I know some people name their layers, but is there a specific reason why? -Sounds like too much work to me. I just get my credits using the bin. I have never heard of this Bridge feature, Heather - it sounds interesting. I constantly learn about new things from my fellow scrappers and I love that!

If you are working on a layout in PS, and have Bridge open and drag in an item, the file is always labeled at the top (tab) but the layers are not, but if you go to Bridge, select an item then go to file at the top, then select place and tell it where to place (ie-PS) it will place that item right onto your layout in its own named layer. It may not work on CS3.

it doesn't work if you double click, you have to drag. Even outside of Bridge it works the same way when you drag from a folder. I much rather list my items in the file folder as I put them on a page, then I have them all ready by designers and just have to copy and paste for my upload

always something new to learn
![]() When I drag an item directly from a folder onto my page, it will appear as a smart object with the file name as the layer. It's pretty cool
