Default 12x10 format

Okay, I need some more advice! I bought a whole bunch of 12x10 albums a long time ago and that is the size I have paper scrapped for years. Since I still have some I want to continue in that size for awhile.
So in PSE9 I create a new document 12x10 and if I'm using a template I resize it to fit that size. Once the page is done...I think I am supposed to create a new page in a 12x12 size and 'paste' the page on that and send it off for printing. I know that I will have to trim it once it comes back to me, but I want to make sure my thinking on this is correct.

Thanks everyone!

That sounds exactly right. Do your page at 12X10, then make a new document and stick it on there. Flatten it (or save as JPEG) and you'll have the white border along the bottom where your page ends. When you have it printed, you just cut off the white border. But you have to make sure you upload them as 12X12s. I've made that mistake at the photo printing kiosks before. They try to think too hard for you!

That said, I've never heard of a 12X10! Who is the manufacturer? Just curious . . .

They were from Creative Memories. It was the only thing I ever bought from them, but they don't make them anymore. I managed to buy enough to last for a couple more years.
