Is there a prompt somewhere for taking photos of the moon? I've had a look but can't find it.

There isn't, but there was a prompt on the CY365 site to capture something round, with the moon being a "supermoon" now it kinda got rolling ^^

Just posted my shot, it turned out really good, but it really wasn't the shot I had planned on. Oh well, maybe there will be another fantastic moon soon.

Thanks ladies! I wondered if this was part of the new photography challenge but couldn't find it - great moon photos! I found it interesting that some of them had exactly the same pattern on the moon - like they'd been taken from the same place, whilst others were different. I wonder how far apart the photos were taken.

you're cracking me up, too! awesome photos by all. i woke about 4am and it was just big and bright outside the deck doors at the foot of our bed. feel lucky i didn't have to trek out because the other sides of our house are all surrounded by tall pines.
