Man, groupon here in Munich really sucks. I never get anything beyond tanning, beauty stuff and travel and just nothing that has ever been of any use. I envy you all and need to figure out how to turn off my groupon emails!

Amber I might be wrong, but I believe you can buy the other deals as long as they are online vendors. I know you can within the us, and I don't see why you couldn't do it internationally.

Bailey is right Amber - you should be able to avail of this deal! Just pick Baltimore or Boston for your city and you can get the groupon. I did this before for another city.

I'm ready to buy one, but I know Shutterfly . . . I fear they'll say, "Oh, that's only for our digital photo books, not for YOUR digital photobooks." Meaning, it only applies to their template books.

Anyone used a SF Groupon for a custom Digi-book before?

I don't see what the difference is, Cassie... I complained BIG time to them on one of those and they let me do it. I said, "Either way you have to print the book. What does it matter what is on the pages???!" It's just ink and paper, right?

I have used "their" digital photo books and just chose the full bleed blank page. It worked for the last sale they had. It really seems silly that there is a difference. They cost the same so Shutterfly makes the same amount of money????

I just checked and I bought one before and used it for my parents Christmas gift - a book of layouts. I didn't have any problems.

Do you think we can buy one groupon from Boston and one from Baltimore?

I don't know if I would because the code might not work. I've tried that with other things and they code their codes for one per customer.

Janet my guess is yes. Groupon let me buy one from the Us and I live in Canada.
It was no problem to use the shutterfly coupon that I purchased.

Thanks, Katie! I just purchased my coupon...easy to do and it worked for an album I already had ready but hadn't ordered, yet.

Cassie, when I create my photo books I use their templates and just choose the blank page template for all the pages in the book (like Jen does). I have all the layouts ready in an album on Shutterfly and then I just move them to the photo book and plop them on the blank template pages. I ordered my December Daily album today using the Groupon code. Nice to get that discounted price!

Hi Ladies...I went ahead and ordered the groupon, no problem, got a code....but how do I use it when I order my book? I thought I would input in the section for 'special/promotional codes' in my shutterfly account so I would be ready to use it but it says the code is invalid..... Can anyone give me some more info please? Thanks so much!

Cathie, it took me a little while to figure out that part, too! I got several emails following my registering with Groupon. Finally, I got one that said my Groupon was ready. It said When you're ready to use your Groupon, you can print it here:
I clicked on the link provided and that took me to a page where I could print out the coupon or if I was buying online there was a code to use at Shutterfly. It should work for you. Let me know!

Okay, I finally gave in and got this coupon as well. I just have to get on the ball and get a book finished, as there is not much time on this coupon.

FYI for anyone who has used PhotoWorks, it seems they are going out of buisness, and if you transfer your photos from their site over to shutterfly, they give you a $30 code to spend at Shutterfly. In addition, PhotoWorks is having a sale (25% & up) on all there stuff, I had never used the site other then uploading a few photos. What I am wondering is - will they allow me to use this $30 toward the extra pages I put in my groupon 8x8 book. Probably not, but there are plenty of ways I can spend the $30.

Note-if you do have photos on PhotoWorks, once you hit the transfer button, you cannot use the photoworks site, so if you want to order something on their sale, do it before you transfer.
