Default Mixbook

Has anyone used Mixbook for a photobook? They are the groupon for Lakeland, FL today and I was just wondering how they were.

Thanks! I remembered the thread but when I searched for Mixbook on the forums it didn't come up.

Bailey, I have been appointed the "technical advisor" for my school's yearbook committee.

There are a lot of yearbook companies out there but from what I've seen the graphic design leaves a lot to be desired. That and we're a small school---only 50 or so students---so we're not looking at ordering a huge amount.

I wanted to design it myself and print 8 1/2 X 11. Mixbook so far is the only company that does portrait 8 1/2 X 11 softcover.

Would you recommend them for a project like this, or do you think the average parent might not be satisfied with quality?

I think they would be just fine for something like that Sarah. Again, most of my issues with them was the whole coupon thing...the quality would be sufficient for any "average parent" and even for most of us here who "are in the know"

I did my sons tee ball team yearbook coaches book with blurb...they weren't 8.5x11 (havent looked if they have that option or not) but they were reasonable and I think they have a yearbook designer thing that can help with layout...just an idea.

Good luck and I'd love to know who you end up choosing
