oh, well . . . gremlins of some sort, went in through mozilla instead of chrome and it worked.

okay, this is not our day...
we've been told that it can't be fixed until Monday... joy.
so... we will be rebooting the chat server at the top of the hour to get the hostesses in so if you continually "retry" at the top of the hour each hour we hope to be able to get you in. I guess this is a time when it will be good to be punctual...
sorry for the challenges this go round but it's beyond our control

Jacqueline - there weren't any problems getting into the chat rooms that I know of until the 10 am hour.

Try this - I just got in by hitting the "retry" button over and over. And so did Wendy, I think!
