Default What are you putting in your carts?

This is soooo hard. Digi less than a year. I have at least 7 of Cassie's tutorials, some of the new stuff just put up are on my wish list. Any suggestions that a person building their supply can't live without? I know this will vary. I have some kraft papers, brushes look neat, alphas look fun. There are so many stitches to choose from. I think templates would be great. Gosh this is going to be hard. I always stock up on the 0.99 and 0.50 sales. Just wondering ( : Especially about the tutorials. I think i may need all of them ( : For sure the beginner page. I am more into lots of pictures, not many elements, clean and simple. At least that is what all of my 5 pages i have done consist of so far and what i can handle at this point in the process.

Anxela would be a good one to comment here!!! She has a very clean style of scrapping too!!! I would agree with Heather... Stitching... start with Anna's white; 1, 2 and borders!!! Some great frames! Brushes in whatever style you like and Cathy's and Michelle's templates!!! They are a MUST!!! Great way to incorporate lots of photos and papers together!!!

Ok...give me a good set of white card stock! That is one sale too. My go to white is the solid white from the little shore kit. Need some new ones.

I totally agree with the above, Cathy's and Michelle's templates would be perfect for you. There are 2 new sets of Linen papers coming out this weekend too, wonderful texture. Look at the older ones too. Katie's cardstocks come in all kinds of colors and they have a really nice texture too.

Kraft is a staple; I always go to my solid papers. Templates are good. For stitches, I have three of Anna's Stitched by Anna . . . series and I go to those all the time. I have never gotten the hang of alphas! Hoping to sit in on Anke's chat tomorrow and get some ideas.

I don't know how you are about coordination, either, but I always seem to find myself short on kits. I rarely buy them, but would love to have every one of them. I'm not good at putting things together, I'd rather have a bucket of items that all match and move those around. Maybe I'll pick up a couple of kits at the sale!

I vote for brushes - once you start using them you'll realise their versatility !!
and I'm a template junkie
Solid papers for sure - I don't use alphas much but that's just me -

Talking about white paper - I just bought a basket full of goodies including the Just Linens 7 and it's gorgeous (hey, it's my birthday this month and I intend to shop all weekend hehehe)
BUT I want a warm white and an ecru colour solids hopefully in on of the other Michelle Martins Linens but it's so difficult to tell the colour on the screen so:

Suggestions for solid, textured warm whites and ecru colour papers??

I have a hard time finding a true white with a nice linen texture. It is hard to keep the pure white and have any shading or texture---one of the drawbacks of digital. I often use the almost-white (but kind of green) from Classic Cardstock: Polar.

Check out Classic cardstock:Oyster and you could always lighten the creme slightly but it has the warmer tint. HTH

I love any of Katie's Classic Cardstock for solid paper and Michelle's linens. Anna's stitches in white and cream. Love Cathy's and Michelle's templates too.

Im another Linen paper freak... I find it very very difficult to finish a page without using Anna's LoopDaLoops (Artstrokes, Hearts, Artsy Flutterbys) I've added some more of these to my collection... I LOVE LOVE LOVE these..
Templates are mostly my go as well, especially some of Anna's Fotoblendz, dont need to add much to these but your photos.. they make you look sooo clever..haha
Katie's templates have sooo much included, all the do-dads to finish it off.. gorgeous..
I think I'd better stop now, I could go on and on and on..
Oh, I nearly forgot, I LOVE Lynn's 'Windows' templates, when you are looking for something neat and elegant...

I've got my cart ready to go, and have tried to check out 3 times. It keeps going back to the page where I'm asked to confirm my billing address. Since my billing address has not changed, I just go down and put in my credit card info, then try to check out...back it takes me. What am I doing wrong?

Also, I have a question, and I'm not trying to be "smart." Why does one buy plain "card stock?" Isn't it the same result as selecting a color you want to use with the color picker, then clicking Alt + Backspace to fill in your blank page with the color?

Cardstock has texture like real cardstock would. When you just fill the background it doesn't have the same dimension in my opinion. You can search the gallery and look at pages that have used Katie's classic cardstock. They are my go to papers!!!

Okay....I looked again. It says my credit card isn't being accepted. I've double checked all the numbers, and it is a legitimate and well used credit card. I don't know what to do now. =:O

Shar,
That has happened to me a couple of times on my card I use every week. I used my DH's credit card instead and it went though. Next week mine worked fine again. I dont know why, but there is some sort of glitch there. Do you have another card you can try??

Are there any more stitched loopdaloops by anna that I'm missing? I just got the flutterby one (and am madly in love), but the only others I can find are loopy circles...I'm looking for more elongated loopy...I feel like I've seen more somewhere?
