Birthday Present
Today is my 62nd birthday-ugh! However, I just have to share with you what my DH did for me. Many of you are aware that Adobe has a special for Elements users right now so that an upgrade to CS5 is much less than normal. I had mentioned this, but since we are going on a cruise in October, I told him to consider that my birthday present. When I got up this morning a card was waiting for me with a photo inside of an adobe house and a photography store, with "Happy Birthday" underneath! He had already loaded it on my computer, as well.I am very lucky to have been married to this man for 41 years! So I have a great new toy to play with! Does anyone have any suggestions for some easy tutorials?

What an amazing hubby! Happy Birthday! I would run through some of Cassie's she points out all the differences between elements and PS. You will have in down in no time flat! Have fun!!!

Congratulations, and happy birthday! What a fun day for you!
I use CS4 to write all my tutorials, but everything in them still works the same in CS5. If you already have some, you can work through them again through "new eyes" to help familiarize yourself with the workspace.

Sweet boy you have Deanie. I got a discounted membership to NAPP and their site has extensive tuts on all aspects... beginner up... plus you get the quarterly Layers Magazine that is fun. I also used the Adobe and Scott Kelby tuts... so much out there but I've learned so much from the NAPP site. Enjoy your special day and your cruise. Pam, it would be totally cool if we ended up on the same cruise, however, we are going to do the New England/Canada one. We leave October 16 from Boston. I wanted to go to Quebec City, but John is feeling uncomfortable taking more time off, since he just had a week off this month! (It was a longer cruise)
