Default Know why I love college football?

Because I get huge brownie points from my hubby for sitting on the couch with him watching the games. And he doesn't care that I'm scrapping on my laptop at the same time as long as I keep him fed and cheer for his team.

Tee hee! I live by Notre Dame but we're Longhorns fans. The hype around town today for the ND game is out of control!

I'm about to have a meltdown. FSU is kicking off, and I can't even find a radio station to listen to (we're at the beach). Argh!

We're really excited this year! Our team is a legitimate contender this year to break into the Top 25 and the QB is on many pre-season Heisman contender lists. Go, Navy! And it's fun following a team outside our region---all our friends are die-hard SEC fans.

Steph, I was once told by a friend's 'guru', a monk, that my husband would be happy if I were just nearby. Kind of like the comfort factor. I didn't always have to 'do' things with him. btw, this was unsolicited advice! I knew to add the well fed too. I think that combo works for most of the male species.

As we follow no football, it's nice to know others are having their fall fix.

I'm a happy girl -- we found a radio station, and my Seminoles are stomping Samford.

Lol I love that you are scrapping, but appear to DH that you are totally interested in the football game, Steph.

I'm happy for you, Linda, but isn't that kind of like LSU playing the local community college? *wink*

I'd love to be next to hubby the whole season(s) long [baseball, football, and hockey when we're bored] but I don't have a laptop! He wants to get one for me, this may be the year where he finally breaks down and spends the $$$. We'd both be content if he watched his game and I were with him, I like to watch the games, too, but I prefer to multi-task.

Watch it, Linda, that's my alma mater lol!

I can't believe the season is starting. Unfortunately at my house, I'm the one who tries to get my better half to sit and watch it with me! Hmmm, Steph, maybe I can get him interested in scrapping on a laptop.

I know we played a pansy (like Florida does for the first two games EVERY YEAR), but dang, it just feels so good to beat someone. The real test will be next week when we have to travel to Oklahoma. Stoops vs Stoops!

Linda, I was just picking on you, my team doesn't have much strength of schedule---beating Notre Dame last season was a huge deal for them, the biggest they've had in a while. I can root for any team as long as they're not playing Navy that week! We don't have a game 'till Monday. LSU game tonight has the streets looking like an abandoned ghost town. This is the best time of year to go shopping---all the stores are completely empty.

Funny, not football, but I'm sitting here scrapping while Michael is watching Motocross and talking about the sport with Jake. He's happy because I'm here too. I think it's all the same.

Huge football fan... love college and pro. Any reason to snuggle on the couch with my family and yummy snacks! I have tried to scrapbook but I get too distracted :P

Here in my house it is Cricket on day in and day out. There is always a game being played SOMEWHERE in the World! Using a laptop to get through the games sounds like a great idea

We are HUGE college football fans! I pull for the SEC while my hubby pulls for ACC. Our favorite team together, though is Georgia Tech! I loved to watch every play years ago, but now I just listen as I find scrapping much more productive!
