Default Managing PS brushes

Can anyone suggest a good method for managing brushes? I upgraded to PS4 and now my brushes are in a couple of places. Also, I never know what a brush is by the name that comes up in the brushes palette. I think renaming them would make it difficult to figure out who to give designer credit. Thanks.

I use Preset Viewer. Once you download the program it automatically finds the abr brush sets in all your files so no need to go and locate them in multiple places. You can then tag your brush sets with any key words you choose if you want to.

Just google in Preset Viewer and they have a nice description of the program and all of it's features and how to use it and set up your preferences for easy viewing.

For Mac users, I love BrushPilot and decided to get the paid version which I felt was well worth it.

Thanks for the tip. The few I have aren't organized either. I've used them, but don't fully understand brushes yet- like why they are better as brushes, lol

Deirdre,

Here is a link to some more info on brushes. The brush options allow for so many more ways to play and add to your pages.

Talking Preset Viewer

Donna,
This inexpensive program is the best! I found brushes I didn't know I had lost! Quite a few of them. This makes life so much easier. Thank you so much.
