Default following on from how fast do you scrap...

... is the question; how many layouts do you make a month?
I do scrap fast, but even so, July was a bumper month for me
I made 44 layouts you can see them on here

Wow, girl, you are burning up cyberspace! Go, Mel!

I made exactly half your number of pages -- 22.

I don't keep track of how many I do but I know it is not 44! I wish I had the time to do 44.

I haven't hardly opened Elements in July. Really, I think I've done 4 LOs. I'm having a really hard time. And added to that, I'm a really slow scrapper. I need a class on speed scrapping!

Sarah I would love to join you in a speed scrapping class as I am definitely a slow scrapper. Not sure how many layouts for me but probably around 10 I'd think. 44 is amazing!!!!

I think i used to do about one a week... (i was a newbie in January, right?) I am always trying to learn more and Now I am really trying to do 2 to 3 layouts a week! It makes me happy... every comment on a page just gets me going... makes me feel like I'm doing something good! I do have to take care of a toddler and a 5 yr old.. so i feel like it's a good goal.
btw, i love it here!

Oh Mel it's a good thing I adore you because ouch I'm so jealous. Does the 20 pages I've done for the kid's preschool book (template..thank you Katie!) count because if they do I've done 29..otherwise 9.

Good grief Mel!!! 44!!!! You ARE speedy gonzales!!

I also scrap fast, but lately I have much less time for it. I think I average 2-2.5 a week - that would be 10-12 a month.

I could only hope I could come close to 44 in one month. I spent about a year with no layouts, but I am back, and did 9 in July - and I think that is a record for me. I tend to agonize over each and every page. Some pages can take days of changing elements, moving photos, modifying colors...

Oh Man - 44!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WISH I had your energy or more importantly - your mojo Mel LOL!!
I'm a bit of a ditherer and sometimes I can spend a whole evening on a page then not like it and start again! I didn't manage one page during June as I was too busy with work stuff but July has been OK! - I've managed 9 pages in 15 days and that's good for me but it's back to work now so it'll be one and a bit pages a week if I'm lucky

You are prolific! A really GOOD month for me is getting about 12 pages done. I definitely tend to work things over too much. What really amazes me about you, Mel, is that you're doing 44 AWESOME pages in a month!!!!

It seems some people are able to combine quality WITH quantity, and you are one Mel.

I'm not sure if I did anything in July but play with some tag mini books for our last Italy trip and then tags for the Hawaii trip. When I'm home on a roll, it's about 4 or 6 a week. However, paper, inks and other fun bits of art journaling have taken more of my time lately.

Its not a competition Ladies just a wondering
I dont think I have more time than most....I dont work in an office, but I do have a photography business and four children, the house etc...... I think I just do this over most things - I dont watch TV etc etc. And I get to bed late And once I get going... I get going
I make a photo book once every two/three months, and thats when I love my layouts most; in book form with the family looking thro them.

I agree, I love seeing the pages done up in a book! Your pages are most wonderful so I imagine the books are too! I find that during the school year, I scrap in the evening and cant wait to put together my next photo book!

Mel and Anke and Linda always amaze me with the number of layouts they post in a month and they are all such beautiful pages. I can think of some others, too, like Elena, Jana Morton, Adyrane, AmyL, Aino, etc. etc. that I could add to the list. I going to stop with the names because I'm sure to leave someone off by mistake if I keep on.

In July I posted 18 pages and that is I think pretty close to my average each month. Even though I am retired and have more time than most of you to scrap, I am still pretty slow at putting a page together.

Even on school holidays, I'd be battling to get more than 4 or 5 done in a week - and during the school term it drops to 1 or 2. You must be incredibly fast at putting a page together, Mel - I reckon it takes me a couple of hours to finally be happy with each one. 44 WTG you!!

Gosh you are a scrapping machine!! And you are such an inspiring scrapper with each of your masterpieces. I range from 15-25 a month. I usually do a couple pages a month that i don't post that i end up submitting. Great thread idea mel!

Mel - you do scrap fast! I am always amazed at how many pages of yours I see pop up in the gallery! I think a good month for me would be around 12... posted here, and then sometimes maybe 4 more to submit to magazine calls. I am hoping to be a little more productive from September to December of this year as both kids will be in school all day! Still have to remember to clean the house though! :-)

1-2 a week, I think. How do you manage that speed? No wonder the DD gallery fills up so fast. LOL!

I am at a stand still ! We have only sons and I have thousands of boy pages. Yippy, we just got a little pink blessing. I have wanted to scrap pink for years and here is my chance to scrap my granddaughter. I don't even know where to start, because I have dreamed about this opportunity for so long, I am just like Scarlett O'Hara, I will worry about this tomorrow : )
