Default Sand/teal/cream/blue/green

My gallery is a sea of sand and teal with some blue and green thrown in occasionally - I'm in colour lock down LOL!! I'm thinking I need to challenge myself to use more colour, maybe once a month I should look at the colour wheel and do one page in something like green and orange or pink and orange - yikes!! I might even think of red, red and yellow...I need to go lie down at the thought of that one! Anyone else stuck in a rut colourwise?

Fiona

You have done lots of beautiful pages in pinks and reds! I can think of a cupcake page and wedding pages and Christmas pages... You work with colors so well!! Using those colors you mentioned makes your LOS to flow and blend so beautifully and the soft colors allow your photos to shine! I wish I could do color like you!

That sounds like a cool challenge to me - use a color you don't normally use!

I have a thing for white and pink these days... White, orange and pink looks amazing together, I think.

Your gallery is a treat, Fiona. I have trouble thinking about you as stuck - about anything.

Fiona, you couldn't go wrong with ANY color!

I find myself using color in waves -- a wave of blue for a while, a wave of green for a while. I just love color!

I am ALWAYS attracted to your photos and think that I should go with a color palette like yours for a change. :O) I love a challenge, too so go ahead and challenge yourself, but I for one like Fiona pages no matter what color. :O)

Well, it is fun to challenge oneself, but, I must agree with everyone who says your gallery is a treat!

oh,please. you KNOW that i regularly drift into Color Phobia. at least you do lovely muted colors when you're going through it. i resort to gray and beige and black and white!! when that happens, i just take it as a matter of course and just wait for it to pass, which it usually does. (i made the mistake of redecorating my living room when i was in a beigeandblackandwhite rut. and now i have a room reflecting Color Phobia!)

I have been trying to use the same papers for my entire AAM book and even though I love bright, rainbow colors, it is tempting at times to switch. I just want my book to be consistent so I am sure I will stick with it!
