I've so many fabulous supplies from this place that when I'm scrolling through looking for that perfect addition to my page, I feel a bit blue about the ones I'm not using.
I wonder how many pages it would take to use every item I've acquired? Maybe they'd stretch to the moon and back!? ![]() What's a girl to do?

you are not even kidding! So many times I put something on a page and then I think that maybe I should have added another thing that I really like and then I think I'll use that one next time. Of course next time there is something else I really like....oh the dilemma we face

This thread just makes me giggle!! It is so true. I see an adorable page in the gallery and I HAVE to go get the kits to make the page. Well . . . have I used all? Heck no.
Some people collect those little spoons, or stamps or whatever. DH collects tools. I collect so many scrapping supplies and I will never be able to use them all. But I have them if I need them : ) Sallie |

At least, unlike paper, our supplies take up small little hard drives, and not whole rooms/garages..... I am more organised with my digi stuff than anything in real life too!!

ditto, ditto, and ditto!!!! I have so much stuff and i seem to use many of the same things over and over and over...
My under-use syndrome lately has been ALL my stuff... i'm suffering from a little bit of creative blockage... i am so inspired by everything i see, but not inspired enough to create.... i need to take more photos. Oh, how i wish i would have taken Katrina's class on how to take pictures of your kids... Do you think that class will be offered again sometime?? I need to learn the tricks... ok, now i'm rambling..... but ~ anyone having the same trouble??? |

I know that I tend to use certain favorites over and over as well, but it is addicting to add more each week. I love templates and have so many I have yet to use, so I am trying to pick one out each week to use. I am trying hard to push myself to expand how I scrap, as I look at the beautiful pages everyone creates, and don't even come close. You all inspire me. You guys and all the materials are pushing me to grow, just as my DD is, as she critiques each page when I am done. And you are right, Britgirl, digital doesn't take up very much room. Good Thing!!!

It's a happy dilemma to have, isn't it? Sometimes I just like to troll through my stuff seeing what will work on a page -- things I haven't even thought of. Such fun!

Yesterday, I stopped at Starbucks (which I have mostly given up because of my DD habit!) and ordered an iced tea + a small cookie for $4.15. All I could think about was "gee, I could have gotten something from my wishlist!"
It's an epidemic!

I know - I can browse through my stash and feel bad about not using all the gems that hide there. But then I think - "don't worry, I will use it all eventually...." Haha!!
On the other hand - I was working on a page and needed a certain item, that I did not have - OF course I found it in the store!! With so much supplies, it amazes me that I need to get new stuff. But the DD store is a never ending fountain - so many goodies there. We have the BEST designers. |

And the best thing about giving up that caffe mocha habit of mine, is not only having more money to shop for, but also less showing up on my hips.

I'm a sewer as well as digi-scrapper and I have an endless stash of fabric too! In sewing we say "she who dies with the most fabric -wins!" I wonder if the same can be said about digi-supplies! LOL

Oh, gosh, now that I have gone back to school and am working, too, I have less and less time to scrap. The guilt is getting to me! I just finished one summer course, and now I hope I can do some pages! It hasn't stopped me from buying new stuff on sale, though!

I did the same with fabric, too. I have a whole cupboard full! Since my current addiction costs about the same as a cup of coffee each week that part doesn't worry me much. I just wish it could come pre-tagged for my ACDSee filing system

Sounds like I am not the only one who is a hoarder of digi supplies. It's funny - for years I would not use my favorite products for paper scrapping b/c I wanted to save it for the perfect page. I was a little intimidated to just use what I had. I always wanted to save the good stuff. Now I just laugh about that because I am a retired paper scrapper and all that stuff never got used. I hope I can donate it to someone who will use it. I have a bigger chance of using my digi supplies b/c I can get A LOT more pages made as compared to paper scrapping. I still don't know if I will ever use every supply - but I like having the option!!!

i just went through my stash and deleted ALL the stuff i'm never likely to use! and, ooo, that HURT! ($$$) i think when a person finds her "style," she can then go back and look at what she owns and admit that you KNOW that there are things in the stash that will never see the light of day.
