Default Would this template work for non PS or PSE users?

Days of December Layered Template Set No. 04 LT512953.jpg

I use Lumapix FotoFusion which is compatible (is that the right word?) with GIF, BMP, TIF, PNG and JPG files. Do the above templates have soley PSD files or do they also offer PNG files, for eg, like others sometimes do? The preview does state PSD files, but I'm trying my luck here.

I know, you're probably thinking, get Photoshop! I will, I will, just not yet, okay?

I think that if your program is compatible with .psd files, it will be mentioned on the company's web site. You should check there.

I doubt that you will be able to "extract" .png files from a .psd template without using photoshop or elements... But I'm not 100% sure about that...

Update:

I searched their support fora, and no, Lumapix can not import and use .psd, but it can export .psd documents.

There is a function in photoshop for easy extraction of the layers in a template (or any .psd document) to .pngs. I guess you could ask Katie if that can be an option for later templates.

There's a program called Super Layer that claims it will extract .psd files to .png files. I haven't tried it, and can't tell you anything about it. But you can google it, read about it and see what you think.

I would virus- and spyware check it before installing, as I don't know anything about this program.

I downloaded it, and it works like a charm!!! It's easy, simple and fast. You can choose what type of file you want each element to convert to. You can use it for free, but in order to export the files, you have to pay the $30 for the full program.

The text bytes don't work for this, of course.

Thanks so much for your help, anxela!
