Default Custom shortcut to idea gallery

I made a url to take me directly to the layouts from the last day, and to show 90 layouts per page. If anyone else is interested in this, here's the link so that you can bookmark it.

http: //www.designerdigitals.com/digital-scrapbooking/ideas/showgallery.php?thumbsonly=0&perpage=90&cat=all&ppuser=&thumbcheck=0&limit=last1
(I put a space between the http: and the rest so that the text would show up. Just edit this when you insert into your url field) Below is the fully working link.

All Images - Digital Scrapbooking Ideas - DesignerDigitals

Here's the thing. If you want to have a default number of layouts shown per page other than this, edit the bookmark for the number after perpage= (to 25 f.i.)

If you want to have layouts from the last 7 days, edit limit=last1 to limit=last7. Same goes for from last1 to last14 for the last 14 days worth of layouts.

This way you can get to your preferred ideas view with one click. I hope someone but me finds this interesting. (The drawback of being a geek is that I have no idea what might be interesting to others, or if I should shut up...)

I've always wanted to be able to do this! Windows/Firefox is not doing well saving my "per page" preferences. When I change to 90 per page, 7/14 days, the first row of images is from back in February, and the dates are all mixed up. I have to set 90 per page, then click on the time frame.

Thanks!

Oh, good, so it's not one of my geek things, then.

Not at all, unless I'm a geek, too. Which I would readily admit, were it true . . . but I'm clinging to my not-geek status, desperately.

I spent years as a database administrator, and I had to teach myself SQL/MySQL so I could run all kinds of reports for the doctors at the hospital. Efficient cascading/updates/searches are all very important to me, especially when it comes to scrapbooking!

That is so cool! Thanks so much for the link. I'm glad you are a computer whatever-it-is. I know it's not a geek
