I have just installed PSE-7 and have gone through the Scrapper's Guide tutorial and am reading the manual. I also have looked at a lot of information here. I have been using memory suites for a year now for all of my digital scrapbooking but it only does so much. I have accumulated a lot of digital kits and after reading through some Q&As I found that some of you use the PSE organizer. Since I have that I think that will be the way for me to go. My question how do I import them into the organizer and can I do them all at one time. I have so many I can't imagine how long it will take doing each one individually. If I have to I have to. When I get them all moved into the organizer I would just tag them as "digital kits"? I now have them saved as digital downloads and are in folders by the kit name. I also want to import my photos so would I use a tag for them all to go under and they would be named "photos" - I currently have them saved by year, month, day with a brief description of what they are. Anyway I am probably not even asking my questions in the right way but I am determined to get this right. I figure getting my kits and photos in the right place first is the best way to go. You guys make all of this seem so easy and I am struggling with the basic stuff and feeling foolish but as I said, I am determined to get this mastered and start having some fun. Thanks for any help or ideas for me.

I use ACDsee Photo Manager as well. I tried to use PSE organizer, and bridge but was unhappy with both of those.
I am going to post a screen shot of what my folder tree looks like- you can set your kits up like this too- if you find that it works for you. I found this to be the easiest way to separate kits for when I want to browse through them. ![]() Also what I do is download my zip files to the "_To Be tagged" folder, I am zip them and keep them there until I am done tagging and scrapping with them. HTH!

Don't feel foolish. We all started at ground zero at one point. I remember not being able to really understand half the ?s here, and I had had a lot of years on computers. Adobe, in particular, is a whole new language and they upgrade and change a lot faster than they used to, so the curve keeps on curving!

Charlene, I use PSE Organizer.
I leave them all in the folders they came in, and then I do tag them. The first time I tagged, it did take me about three hours (at that point I had about 8,000 items). Here is a thread where I showed how I have it structured: http://www.designerdigitals.com/digi...-supplies.html I have a catalog for photos, which I don't really tag, and a catalog for supplies that are tagged. HTH!
