Talking Oh!!! A new challenge!!!

A couple of months ago, I started a thread about being behind on long-term scrapping projects. And, thanks to the many comments of support, it motivated me to start a new challenge for all of us.

The new challenge will run every other Thursday. Check out the Designer Digitals blog for all the details!

You're great for cooking up new ideas, Steph!

I've always got several albums going because that is how I scrap...by whatever moves me at the moment...but, sometimes, I even forget about some of my ongoing album themes and need to at least keep adding a page or two every so often. This is perfect motivation for me to revisit those albums I've started but almost forgotten.

Great post Steph! You were kind to me as I've been working on my 40th album for 18 months! LOL

I hope it inspires others to finish projects!

Great challenge, my step-son is 21 in January and I'm putting random pages together for him for a book, this will get me into gear to finish it.

I've been telling myself I'm going to do that Heritage album since last fall.. I think I'll participate in this one just to hold myself accountable for getting some of it done.. I'm one of those people who it takes forever to start but once I get going I get obsessed so hopefully this will jumpstart me:-) Thanks so much.. you always have such great idea

Inspired by you and Katrina, I went through my albums and pulled out any unfinished pages to finish. I don't have that many so that's good. However, I do have a book started for my grandnephew that I need to get finished so perhaps this will inspire me to do that.

I have about 2-3 pages that need to be done to finish off my 2008 album... so maybe this will be the kick in the pants I so desperately need!

OMG, after I posted to this thread last night I went into my grandnephew's book to see how many pages I need to make to complete it. The answer was Z-E-R-O. Thanks to Steph's challenge I organized and arranged all the pages in order and I had actually already completed 21 pages and the cover and spine were done also. So now it just waits in line to be printed.

Oh, I guess this means I have to work on my 365 pages that I'm behind on now since I can't NOT try a new challenge. :O)

OK Just as FYI Steph...your thread was the reason I worked like a bee to make sure my week in the life book was done. I realized how many projects I needed to complete and really didn't want another one I half remembered before finishing (cough cough December Daily cough cough! )
So My Pledge is to finish December Daily!

I was thinking that I didn't need this challenge as I don't scrap chronologically, just as I feel like it.

Then I looked in my 'work in progress' folder, and realised how many half-finished pages I have. So I'll try to either finish or delete these pages for the challenge.

Thanks!

What a wonderful idea for a challenge, Steph! I know just what I need to do too. Maybe I can finally finish my book of homes that I started two years ago! I only have three homes left, so three times through your challenge should do it for me. Thanks for the push!
