Default Time Machine

I've had my sweet macpro for 9 mo. with nary an issue. Today, I update the new Safari 5 then opened CS4 to continue working on a WWII page about my father. Oh no... error... page was corrupt... not there. I'm painfully slow in scrapping so this was major to me. And now the GOOD NEWS... I only had to go back to yesterday's last BU with Time Machine and there was my lovely page... missing the last couple layers I created but very doable. Can I say... I love my Mac Just putting this out there for whoever needs a refreshing reminder of why we switch

Time machine has saved me a couple of times, too. So glad you didn't loose your work. :O)

Question, besides Time machine, do you all have another back up?

I have yet to need to use my TimeMachine but I love seeing the white light come on when a backup is being done.

I do have other backups, (as I would encourage everyone to do) but I love time machine because I can retrieve things specifically with such ease.

As someone who's a graduate of the "what happens to your life when your hard drive dies and you haven't backed it up for a while," I wholeheartedly concur: THANK GOODNESS for Time Machine. So glad you were able to restore your files. It's a wonderful thing. : )

I DEFINITELY have other BU... another EHD plus disks... plus I create a monthly disk of all new DD product purchased and pages/cards created. Paranoid? You bet!

I never used Time machine, I use Mozy though. Another great solution I am glad for you to have been able to find your page, that's for sure.
