Thumbs up Show Us Your Favorites!! (06-07-10)

THE FAVORITES THREAD IS FOR LAYOUTS POSTED LAST WEEK. PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE PAGES POSTED AFTER SUNDAY, JUNE 6TH.

Please show us pages that use DesignerDigitals products and provide a link (click here to learn more) . . . so we can see the details of the page in the gallery.

I absolutely loved this page by Brittany. She combined so many fun elements and they all work perfectly together. Plus, any page with Elvis gets my vote!

I look forward to seeing YOUR favorites!!

I am loving Marnie's heritage pages this week and just had to post more than one of her new pages . . . she is really on a fantastic roll!!! These are all three about Marnie's grandfather . . . I LOVE her simple and awesome style . . . love the heritage with a totally modern look! I swoon each time I see that Marnie has a new page up in the gallery this week!

I loved Unmistakably You by Anke -- she did a great job with the technique on the photo.

I am loving Marnie's heritage pages as well. I HAVE to post two. My favorites folder was very busy this week.

Phylis continues to amaze me. Every single page she posted this week ended up in my favorites folder which is pretty much the norm for her. This one blew me away!

And this page by Tracy also left me speechless...absolutely stunning!

Marnie's pages were just amazing last week!

I thought this one by Linda (earlofoxford) was so sweet and so much fun. What a great way to highlight that adorable little class of 2010!

Loved the heritage pages by Marnie too. They are so awesome.
Love this one by Joanie and how she made such good use of this template. Love how she used images for the past and then addressed also journaling from today.

I also love this one by Vicki (oldvwblues) where she uses the same text technique as Anke to create this wonderful page about Gavin. Love those blue eyes.

I also love this one for the iTunes challenge by scrapalicious. Just brilliantly done.

I am a HUGE fan of Mel (BritGirl) and her AMAZING digi brain. If I could spend one day with this digital mind I'd be thrilled! I think this page, "Read" is another fascinating creation. Thanks Mel, for all you inspiration.

Jana, you have ROCKED my day (in a positive way)! I'm honored to have a LO listed by someone whose work I so admire. Thank you so much!

Many of my faves have been listed. I too think Marnie has rocked her heritage pages! They are stunning!

As a former service member, I was deeply touched by Adryane's poignant Memorial Day tribute, "In Loving Memory". The blending of all those different photos is just fantastic, particularly the overlay of the cemetery on the lone figure. The symbolism is amazing!

And one other jewel is Terri's (aka Going to the Sun) "comeback" LO, "My Two True Loves". I LOVE the tabbed photo above the stitched paper, and the colors and that photo are just marvelous!! Good to have you back!

I'm really enjoying Aino's Art Journal Challenges. Her latest page "May I Please Have Another Head?" is a fun digi version of mixed media collage style that I love so much.

Also Gabi's "10 Things Right Now". The photo is so captivating!

Mollie, you put a big grin on my face! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generous praise! I'm so pleased and honored that you are enjoying my heritage pages! And many thanks to the rest of the my cheerleaders in this week's thread--Jana, Kerry, Dorah, and Tracy! The DD community sure knows how to inspire and encourage!

Every week, my faves folder is filled to the brim! I'd like to mention a couple I haven't seen yet, but will have to do it in two posts because for some reason I've never successfully been able to show two pages in one post!

'In This Photo' by Aino caught my attention since I love doodles and whimsy! I thought her list was so clever and endearing! And I can almost hear the giggles coming from that precious photo!

Okay - my hubby had to help me with this - I've been having trouble getting my favorites into this thread. I hope we got it. I chose Amber's page. The colors and embellies are just fabulous!
