Yep, they look great! It feels so good to have those books in your hands, doesn't it? I went back and forth thinking I wanted to print layouts and put them in traditional albums, but once I had three or four of those sleek books on my shelf, I decided not to go back. One of the biggest benefits for me of printing books is the tight, sleek look of the books.

Some friends of mine thought I might go back to paper after a while (they all quit digital) but I never will! Never, ever, ever . . . I don't even do hybrid. I quake at the sight of decorative scissors.

it's weird because i have shelves and shelves and shelves of binders that no-one will look thru, yet here are the photobooks all worn out almost LOL!
it just really validates my choice more and more

So happy for you! I'm finding people look at my professionally printed albums much more than they did the albums filled with my home printed pages, too!

I know many moms have mentioned liking the other albums with the plastic sleeves to slip the pages into so that little hands don't smear them up. My grandson does like to look at those earlier books I made for him. Maybe some of each kind is in order.

What a great feeling that is! I am waiting for a book to arrive from Shutterfly to actually hold one in my hot little hands.

I had not remembered the 'make page smaller' bit so it will be what it is..but what is the part about the colors ...vivid etc? I have not seen that on the site. Seems like i better do a thorough search on Shutterfly before I print this Alaska book I hope to finish Friday??

I've never thought much about printing my LO's into books. I have just printed them individually and put them in a binder. Nice for those little greasy, dirty hands. However, I really like that this saves space and looks so sharp! Which one wins?? lol

They are fantastic, nothing quite like getting them out of the packaging for the first time and seeing all your hard work go from the screen to the tactile book.

a MILLION thanxs to everyone who has commented or even READ my rambling thoughts
digital scrapping has been a GODSEND since i am quickly running out of space in my house and decluttering has become key in my life.
