Default Printer paper suggestion?

Hi all,
I've been using PremierArt™ 12" x 12" Matte Scrapbook Photo Paper from Epson to print my pages and was sad (okay...make that freaked out) to learn that they're discontinuing it as a product. I've googled and have maybe found one place that still has any in stock but I was wondering what other folks use. ...thanks for any suggestions!...Kim

I use epson's ultra premium presentation paper matte (13x19 size) and it works great. I rarely print scrapbook pages at home though... but I do print a lot of other large projects (for my design classes). Sorry to hear that they are discontinuing their 12x12 paper!

I have been using 13x19 for printing out large pages and was going to order 12x12. Sorry to hear they are not going to carry it any more.

I use Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Matte 8.5 x 11 and print all my pages at home. The matte is perfect to place behind glossy sleeves. It looks rich and because I print myself, I can move pages and expand the books as I please. I trim all pages to 8 x 8.

This paper is amazing. Good luck!

i'm budget-minded. i use HP Premium Photo Paper, or HP Premium Plus Photo Paper, soft gloss. they used to have matte, but no longer. i get it from the HP website. often they have BOGOs, and it's a tremendous deal. i print out all my pages at home, but when i want 12x12s, i buy them from one of the sites that do printing.

I am still finishing up a stockpile I had of generic photo paper from the stock we got with each printer, and we've had a few! If it's 8.5x11 I will either print at home or often just print at Costco. If it's a whole set like ME-Tav or DYL I send them off to scrapbookpictures.com.

fwiw, I saw that Cathy Zielske uses ilford galerie smooth pearl for her prints. She is a pro, and I'm not.

Of course, the price floored me and it led me to wonder WHERE you buy your papers, if you buy them on line?

I have an HP8750 wide format and buy their premium paper from their online store. Not many choices from HP but I do use the HP Advanced Photo Paper, Glossy when I print pages for my mother's 12x12 book. Cathy Z has the same printer so I was glad to hear of another option from Ilford.
