Default Cassie's Recoloring Tutorials... A Long Thank You.

Hi everyone...

I posted a bit ago about changing the color of person. From a yellowy-green back to a pinkish-fleshy color. The reason was that my husband's grandmother was suffering from cancer that spread to her liver, and as it was shutting down, her skin tone turned the yellowy-green.

Well, we had a family wedding in the beginning of May, and we have some great family shots of her with everyone in his family -- from family portraits to fun, silly shots.

I had bought both of the tutorials for color changes, and they worked beautifully! She has no green or yellow tint; she just seems a bit tan-ner than normal -- but that works since she was from Florida. Anyway... she passed away on Monday, with many of her family around.

I just wanted to give Cassie a huge "THANK YOU!!!" If not for her tutorial, I would not have been able to do such a good job with the re-colorings and tweakings I was able to complete to the photos.

Cassie -- Thank you so much for advising which products might be useful, as well as providing the tutorial tools. I was able to make some of her last photos with her family a better representation of what she looked like before she was sick.

Jenn, I am so truly sorry for your family's loss. What a blessing you have been to them during these final weeks of your husband's grandmother's life. By taking the time to learn how to fix the photos, you gave them a priceless gift. I am so happy to hear that my tutorials could play a part in helping you preserve these final memories of your loved one. It's the best compliment I could ever receive. God bless you and your family during this difficult time.

Jenn . . . I am so sorry for the loss of your husband's grandmother. You must be just the sweetest young grand-daughter-in-law ever . . . I know that all of the family must be so grateful for the kindness and care that you showed. It helps so much to be able to remember a loved one as they were and not when sickness has changed things I think. Cassie is not only a wonderful digital helpmate for us, but she is a beautifully caring person as you, like many of us have found out.

Jenn, I'm so sorry to hear about losing your grandma-in-law but you two must have been something special together. Isn't it amazing how we find a gift in one place that helps us in another? There is no doubt Cassie is a blessing in a lot of places, including here.
